Parquet Consulting is an engineering-first data consulting and talent firm. We deliver platforms, advise on strategy, and staff the teams that keep data products running.

What we do

We design, build, and operate data platforms for organisations that need working systems — not strategy decks. That means ingestion pipelines, cloud lakehouses, governance implementations, streaming infrastructure, and the data layer behind AI products.

Alongside delivery, we help organisations make the right platform and architecture decisions, and we staff the data engineering, analytics, and ML teams that keep those platforms running.

How we think

We are practitioners first. Our consultants and advisors have built data systems on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and the broader modern data stack. We advise from experience, not from vendor talking points.

Our story

Parquet Consulting was founded by data engineers and architects who kept running into the same problem on both sides of the market: organisations struggling to build and staff modern data platforms, and skilled practitioners struggling to find roles where the work was genuinely interesting and the team technically credible.

We built Parquet to close that gap — starting with deep technical recruiting, then expanding into direct delivery and advisory work as clients asked us to do more than just hire. Today we take on the full range: platform builds, architecture reviews, governance implementations, and the staffing to support them.

We work across the modern data stack — cloud warehouses and lakehouses, orchestration, transformation, governance, and AI infrastructure — and we are deliberately platform-agnostic. We recommend and build on whatever is right for the problem, not whatever we are commercially incentivised to push.
